What the QuickBooks plugin will do.

It isn't released yet. When it is, it's built for UK merchants who want every order, refund and payment in QuickBooks without lifting a finger.

Real-time webhook sync

Every WooCommerce order triggers an instant webhook. Syncible processes it and creates a QuickBooks invoice in seconds. No polling, no batches, no delays.

UK VAT handling

Syncible maps WooCommerce tax classes to QuickBooks tax codes (TAX/NON) automatically. Per-tax-class overrides let mixed-rate merchants route zero-rated and standard-rated goods correctly.

Payment gateway routing

Stripe payments go to your Stripe clearing account, PayPal to PayPal, cash on delivery to petty cash. Map each WooCommerce gateway to a specific QuickBooks bank account.

COGS tracking

When enabled, Syncible posts cost-of-goods-sold entries against your nominated COGS account in QuickBooks for every order with a cost price. Gross margin reporting without manual journals.

Historical backfill

Already have orders in WooCommerce? Backfill them into QuickBooks by date range. Choose which statuses to include and set a cap. Existing invoices are never duplicated.

Full audit log with retry

Every sync action is logged: exports, refunds, voids, payments, failures. If something fails, you see exactly why and can retry with one click from your dashboard.

Per-contact account mapping

Override the default income account for specific customers. Wholesale clients post to one account, retail to another. Contacts matched by email — never duplicated in QuickBooks.

Draft vs final invoices

Choose whether Syncible creates QuickBooks invoices as drafts (for review) or as final invoices with payment automatically recorded. Change the setting any time from your dashboard.

Sync failure alerts

If an order fails to sync, you get an email when it fails, with the exact error and a one-click retry link. Batched per merchant so you never get spammed — just one clear summary.

Manual sync button

Missed a webhook? Hit the sync button on your dashboard to re-process the last 48 hours of orders and retry any failures from the past week. Rate-limited to prevent API thrashing.

Refunds and cancellations

Refunds create QuickBooks credit memos automatically. Cancelled orders void the invoice. Idempotency checks prevent duplicate credit notes from webhook retries.

Product and stock sync

Pull QuickBooks inventory items into WooCommerce, or push WooCommerce products to QuickBooks. Variable product variations are handled as individual items by SKU.

Common WooCommerce + QuickBooks questions

Does it work with WooCommerce Subscriptions?
Yes. Renewal orders sync into QuickBooks Online as individual invoices with full line-item detail, the same way as one-off WooCommerce orders.
What happens if QuickBooks goes offline?
Syncible queues orders and retries automatically with exponential backoff. Orders aren't lost — once QuickBooks is reachable again the backlog drains in order, and any failures are surfaced in your dashboard with a one-click retry.
How does VAT and sales tax work?
Tax rates are routed per line. WooCommerce tax classes are mapped to the corresponding QuickBooks Online tax codes on each invoice line, so your tax return reconciles correctly without manual adjustments.
Will it create duplicate invoices?
No. Every WooCommerce order is matched by ID before it's posted to QuickBooks. If an order has already been synced it's skipped; if it's been updated, the existing QBO invoice is updated rather than duplicated.
Can I backfill historical orders?
Yes. The dashboard includes a date-range backfill tool that pulls historical WooCommerce orders and posts them into QuickBooks in chronological order, respecting QuickBooks rate limits so nothing gets throttled or dropped.
